Job Title: Cyber Security Tech Writer

Location: Columbia MD 21046 (100% Remote role)

Duration: 06+ Months

Job Details

• Looking for technical writer. 6+ months. Looking for someone who has been a cyber journalist.
• Freelance cyber journalists. Someone from security, work in conjunction with security ops team and threat intel analysts that get info on what they’re seeing.
• New threat comes out , their people go in and knock it out, then turn around and explain how they remediated the situation and must write it out and turn into blog post.
• Need to do it in a way that they can have someone who isn’t in the weeds with cyber security. Lay it out for me like I don’t know anything. Good story tellers, consumable content, cant be too technical.
• Mid-level role.
• Fulltime contract – 10 to 15 pieces they’re writing a month.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $55 to $60/hr.
