Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• I require 1 to 3 years of experience in IT monitoring or system administration, with practical expertise using LogicMonitor.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is essential.
• I expect a strong grasp of network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, etc.), infrastructure components (servers, databases, networks), and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports in LogicMonitor is necessary.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Groovy) for automation and monitoring customization are beneficial.
• Experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining monitoring solutions for infrastructure, network devices, and applications is required.

Responsibilities:

• I need you to implement and oversee network modifications during scheduled change windows, including after-hours when necessary.
• You will create and manage network changes in line with ticketing system requirements.
• Performing Lifecycle Management (LCM) and Vulnerability Management activities will be part of your duties.
• I want you to triage and resolve network incidents, escalating appropriately when necessary.
• Ensuring adherence to change and engineering standards documentation is crucial.
• You will provide second-tier support for the Network Operations team and participate in on-call escalation rotations.
• Serving as a technical resource, you will offer guidance to the L1 Network Operations team.
