Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Long Beach, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the dynamic Oil & Gas industry, where you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of product information and pricing systems. You will collaborate with multiple departments and vendors to ensure efficient data management and accurate reporting. Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain product information in centralized systems to support store-level operations. - Ensure timely and accurate updates to pricing and promotional data. - Collaborate with marketing teams to align pricing strategies with promotional campaigns. - Coordinate with external vendors to verify item profiles, costs, and pricing accuracy. - Investigate and resolve inquiries related to pricing and product data. - Prepare and input data files into software systems while verifying accuracy. - Analyze reports and data to provide actionable recommendations. - Follow established procedures to ensure data integrity across systems. - Support interdepartmental needs through effective communication and collaboration. - Assist with creating and updating pricing systems for new store locations. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or a related business environment. - High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Accounting is preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and external vendors. - Analytical mindset with a basic understanding of retail concepts. - Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and initiative.
