Job Title Junior Security Analyst

Location 100% Remote, Some travel onsite for meetings (about 2 weeks per year - Must be comfortable working EST time zone hours)

Duration 12+ months Contract

Only US Citizens OR GC Holders, OPT if they do not need sponsorship

Job Description :-

Required Skills for this position:

• Ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnel
• Working knowledge of web applications
• Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL
• Strong understanding of networking (Nmap tool, Wireshark, and vulnerability scanning)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience performing searching in SIEM
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
• Experience with NIST 800-53

Preferred Certification:

• SECURITY +

Daily duties / responsibilities:

• Vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation with responsible teams
• Deploy and manage edr
• Review firewall requests
• Research and assess newly released vulnerabilities
• Assist with incident response and investigation
• Assist with grc assessments
• Create alerts in siem based off data from various security tools
