Position: S/4 HANA Techno - functional including app development on BTP

Location: Washington, DC (onsite)

Contract

Required Skills:

• BTP Services: Cloud Foundry, CAP, HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, SAC, SAP Graph.
• Programming: ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS, OData, AMDP (for ABAP-focused roles).
• Integration: API development, OData Services, Integration Suite (CPI).
• Methodologies: Agile and DevOps best practices on SAP BTP-including CI/CD pipeline automation, Git-based version control, and rapid cloud deployment-ensuring quality and speed from development to delivery.
• Skilled in SAP Fiori/UX, ABAP RAP, CAP model, and data migration for both cloud and on-prem environments. Deep hands-on experience applying SAP's GenAI technologies, AI Core, and AI Launchpad to automate intelligent workflows, optimize testing
• 12+ years of SAP ABAP development in ECC out of which 4+ years of S/4HANA development experience
• Experience in SAP BTP

Certification:

• SAP BTP IS certification is an added advantage
• SAP Certified Development Specialist ABAP FOR SAP HANA 2.0

Job Description:

• Requirement Gathering: Conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and processes.
• Solution Design: Identify processes for BTP extension, design workflows, define user roles, and plan integrations (APIs, OData).
• Development: Build cloud apps with CAP Model (Cloud Application Programming Model), use Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Integration Suite.

Implement:

• Key User Extensibility (In-App)
• On-Stack Developer Extensibility
• Side-by-Side Extensibility using BTP
• Migrate legacy customizations to extensibility models
• Create cloud-ready APIs and services
• Integration: Connect BTP with S/4HANA and third-party systems using APIs, OData, and Integration Suite.
• Security: Implement BTP security, authentication (OAuth2, XSUAA).
• Support: Troubleshoot, optimize performance, monitor BTP logs
