Job Description

Job Title: Sales + Stylist Intern

Location: LABEL NYC or Los Angeles - Hybrid: Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm

Employment Type: Credit for Internship for 6-8 weeks with potential to turn into a full-time position thereafter

Compensation: School credit + commission + stipend

The Sales & Styling Intern at LABEL will play a key role in supporting client acquisition, outreach, and personal styling for our custom clothing clientele. This position is ideal for a motivated, sales-savvy individual looking to gain real-world experience in luxury sales, personal styling, entrepreneurship and relationship-driven service. You'll assist with prospecting, cold outreach, and CRM management while also learning how to build thoughtful wardrobes for busy professionals. This is a hands-on role that blends business development with creative styling and client experience.

Responsibilities:

Sales Development

  • Research and identify high-potential prospects and client segments
  • Assist in outbound outreach efforts, including email, LinkedIn, and cold calls
  • Help manage and maintain CRM records, ensuring accurate lead tracking and follow-up
  • Shadow client appointments and fittings with senior clothiers to learn consultative selling and styling
  • Assist with preparing proposals, lookbooks, and personalized outreach materials
  • Support sales events, showroom appointments, and trunk shows

Styling Support

  • Help prepare for client appointments by pulling looks and assembling swatch selections
  • Assist in building wardrobe capsules based on client lifestyle, preferences, and existing pieces
  • Support seasonal updates to internal styling guides and inspiration boards
  • Take part in fabric selection, garment pairing, and overall look development for key clients
  • Track client preferences and style profiles to ensure personalized recommendations
  • Assist in recording alterations and updating client patterns in our order entry system

Sales Operations

  • Coordinate sample deliveries, appointment prep, and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize prospecting workflows and client experience
  • Learn LABEL’s product assortment and construction options to effectively support the sales process
  • Assist with internal reporting and analysis of outreach performance

Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or Fashion
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Interest in menswear, fashion, and/or personal styling
  • Comfortable with phone outreach and digital communication
  • Google Suite proficiency; CRM experience is a plus
  • Prior retail, showroom, sales, or fashion styling experience is a bonus

This is an entry-level internship reporting to the Director of Sales and Chief Revenue Officer
