REQUIRED SKILLS: Qualifications/ Requirements:
• Minimum BS degree in Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry, or related discipline with experience in a laboratory environment. 3+ years’ experience in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred.
• Analytical food chemistry experience required.
• Familiar with Laboratory Information Management Systems and documentation tools.
• Knowledge and experience of a wide range of analytical chemistry techniques, instrumentation, and statistics.
• Highly developed critical thinking skills required to determine various potential technical solutions and solve technical problems utilizing standard research methodology.
• Attention to detail in implementing experiments/projects and in the delivery of accurate and timely analytical results/insights.
• Sound understanding of Experimental Design.
• Ability to communicate confidently and effectively in a timely manner in presentations and emails.
• Ability to think and act on their own, while communicating needs and results appropriately.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must understand and follow safe handling of hazardous chemicals and have an appreciation of the normal hazards associated with laboratory work.
