Do not submit people who are a mix of Product Owner, BA, PM, etc
Meijer has a VERY mature Technical Product Owner team onsite. They want dedicated Product Owners not a mix.
They will check LinkedIn to verify they have Product Owner only titles, Product Owner duties (vision, product road map, user stories, Scrum, test quality), a TECHNICAL background specifically in ServiceNow/SAP and have experience talking technical details with the Architects. People who change their LinkedIn profiles too much get flagged.
Any retail clients will be good
This position is remote, but candidates in our 6 states footprint and those able to commute into Grand Rapids on occasion are preferred.
Note: This is for a technical position, successful candidates will have a technical background (ServiceNow, SAP, or other similar systems) and will be comfortable talking about architectural requirements with our architects
The ideal candidate for this role has 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience. As part of their role on a product team, a successful Product Owner should fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
- Working with the department leadership to define the vision for the team's product
- Creating a product road map based on this vision
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
- Developing user stories
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
- Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
- Owning quality and test quality for the teams work
