We are an established business seeking an experienced Textiles Manager to assist with operations at our new facility in Burlington, NC.

Job Overview

As the Textiles Restoration Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our textile restoration projects—from initial assessment to preparation for final delivery. You will manage a small team, help us ensure quality control, and drive efficiency and excellence among your team.

We primarily work with insurance companies to assist their customers with textile restoration due to a fire or water loss w/in their home. A typical project will include the processing of their laundry, managing the restoration of their dry cleaning and area rugs, and the handwashing of delicate items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations including washing, drying, pressing, folding, packaging, and inventory control
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure optimal productivity
  • Maintain quality control standards
  • Monitor machine performance and help coordinate maintenance and/or repairs as needed
  • Ensure proper inventory levels of detergents, chemicals, and supplies
  • Help to maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Assist w/ reports on inventory, output, staffing, and supply usage

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in textiles restoration or laundry operations a plus preferred
  • General knowledge of computers and inventory software management systems
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and problem, solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move items
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Clear background check
  • State driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
