Inventory/Supply Specialist

Salary: $44,000 - $47,000 annually

Our Troy, MI location is currently looking for an Inventory/Supply   Specialist  to join our growing team. Our ideal Inventory/Supply Specialist candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and be passionate about cost negotiations. They will maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and vendors, staying up to date in the industry and market trends to ensure we are leading the industry with the best supplies and equipment. Working closely with other departments to ensure we are meeting production needs. Responsibilities

• Maintain chemical, supply, uniform & equipment inventories
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Vet & fulfill supply orders for Modernistic locations
• Maintain store website inventory & fulfill customers orders
• Promote store sales to existing customers
• Ensure efficient order deliveries, shipments and transfers
• Research & propose new chemicals/supplies as needed
• Negotiate supply rates
• Place orders & receive deliveries 

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Purchasing & Inventory management
• 2+ years logistics and supply chain management experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Experience in cleaning and restoration industry is a plus, but not required
• High level computer skills, Microsoft Office, software skills
• High level written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to move and lift 50 lbs. or more
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
• Friendly, cooperative and positive attitude
