Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager - Manufacturing | EPA & Safety Compliance Expert

Location & Compensation

• Location: Finger Lakes Region, NY (between Rochester and Syracuse) • Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 plus performance bonuses • Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates

Position Overview

Join a premier manufacturing organization as their Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, where you'll lead comprehensive safety and environmental initiatives across our state-of-the-art facility. Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead EHS leadership initiatives and conduct comprehensive performance assessments • Drive continuous improvement in safety metrics and environmental performance • Lead World-Class Manufacturing safety initiatives and compliance programs • Develop and implement innovative EHS risk mitigation strategies • Manage regulatory compliance and serve as primary liaison for government inspections • Oversee incident investigation processes and corrective action implementation • Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs • Monitor and report key safety and environmental KPIs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing EHS management • Proven expertise in EPA regulations and hazardous materials management • Strong background in wastewater compliance and environmental regulations • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred • Demonstrated leadership in implementing safety management systems • Experience with EHS technology and AI-driven solutions
