Job Description:
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Apartment Leasing Agent to join our property management team in the USA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for showcasing apartment homes, assisting prospective residents through the leasing process, and ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction. As an Apartment Leasing Agent, you will play a key role in achieving occupancy goals and representing the community with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist prospective residents, providing tours of apartment communities and amenities.
Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
Explain leasing terms, community policies, and pricing to prospective residents.
Accurately prepare and process lease applications, agreements, and renewals.
Follow up with prospective residents and maintain ongoing communication to maximize occupancy.
Assist with marketing and outreach efforts, including social media, community events, and online listings.
Ensure model apartments and leasing office are clean, organized, and ready for showings.
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and coordinate maintenance requests with the property management team.
Build positive relationships with current residents to promote renewals and referrals.
Maintain accurate leasing records and daily activity reports.
Stay current with fair housing laws, local rental regulations, and property management best practices.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in real estate, business, or property management is a plus.
Proven experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with leasing software and basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM).
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of fair housing laws and local rental regulations.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced multifamily housing environment.
Strong closing skills and ability to meet leasing targets.
