Department ProfileThe Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Stanley's various industry and government regulators, and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team.
Primary ResponsibilitiesThis individual will be a member of the Americas Accounting Policy group and be responsible for providing subject matter expertise as it relates to U.S. GAAP as follows:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
